Waste Solutions For Your Industry

Built on Service

A surgical center, a tower under construction and a condo association need three different setups. Open the segment that fits your operation and see what we would actually put in.

Waste is not one service. What a busy kitchen needs at 6am has almost nothing in common with what a hospital loading dock needs, or what a tower needs during interior demo. Tap a segment below for what we typically set up and what it fixes.

Commercial & BusinessOffices, storefronts, professional buildings and mixed commercial

The everyday commercial account: a container on your property, emptied on a schedule, invoiced the same way every month. Most of what we do, and the line most businesses overpay on because nobody has revisited the size or the frequency in years.

We start by looking at what you actually generate rather than what the last hauler sold you. Right-sizing the container and the pickup schedule is usually worth more than shaving the rate.

What we typically set up
  • 2 to 8 yard front-load container, sited where your staff will actually use it
  • Pickups from once a week to six days a week, adjusted as volume changes
  • Cardboard and commingled recycling alongside the trash
  • Roll-off for cleanouts, renovations and one-off volume
  • Flat monthly rate with fees itemized as separate pass-through lines
What it solves
  • Paying for capacity you do not use
  • A rate that crept up without anyone telling you
  • Containers overflowing before the scheduled pickup
  • Nobody answering when something needs to move today

Warehouse, Industrial & DistributionDistribution centers, manufacturing, flex space and logistics

High volume, steady flow, fixed dock — the textbook case for compaction. You stop paying to move air and the haul count drops with it, which is where the money in commercial waste actually is.

What we typically set up
  • Stationary compactor with detachable containers
  • 8 yard front-load at multiple docks
  • Baled or loose cardboard programs
  • Roll-off for periodic clear-outs and equipment changes
What it solves
  • Paying per-haul to move half-empty containers
  • Dock congestion from too-frequent pickups
  • Capital tied up in owned equipment you would rather lease
  • Downtime when a compactor fails and nobody services it

Healthcare & Medical FacilitiesHospitals, surgical centers, clinics, dental, veterinary and labs

Healthcare buildings generate far more ordinary waste than most people assume — packaging, cardboard, food service, office paper, construction debris during a build-out. That stream is ours, and it is usually the larger and more expensive half of the bill.

What healthcare adds is scrutiny. The enclosure is often in view of patients and neighbors, service has to happen without blocking an ambulance bay or a loading dock, and a missed pickup becomes a visible problem the same day. We schedule around that rather than around our route convenience.

We are permitted for regulated medical waste as well — red bag, sharps and pathological — so one company covers the whole building instead of two vendors, two schedules and two invoices.

What we typically set up
  • Right-sized front-load, 2 to 8 yard, on a frequency matched to real volume
  • Compactor programs for hospitals and larger facilities — fewer hauls, sealed, no odor
  • Cardboard and commingled recycling, which is where most of the volume actually is
  • Roll-off containers for renovations, build-outs and equipment changeovers
  • Scheduling around patient hours, ambulance access and quiet periods
What it solves
  • Overflowing enclosures in patient sightlines
  • Pickups that block the dock or emergency access
  • Paying trash rates to dispose of clean cardboard
  • Containers sized years ago for a different volume
  • Multiple facilities with no single point of contact

Restaurants & Food ServiceRestaurants, kitchens, grocery, catering and food processing

Wet, heavy, odor-sensitive waste in Florida heat, with a health inspector who can arrive any day. The equipment matters more than the rate here: a sealed self-contained compactor solves problems an open container never will.

What we typically set up
  • Self-contained compactor for wet waste, or 4 to 8 yard front-load
  • Three to six pickups a week, adjusted seasonally
  • Dedicated cardboard recycling alongside the trash
  • Enclosure kept clean and serviceable
What it solves
  • Odor and pests before an inspection
  • Grease and liquid leaking from an open container
  • Cardboard eating the trash container's capacity
  • Weekend volume nobody scheduled for

Retail & Shopping CentersShopping plazas, big-box, strip centers and single storefronts

Cardboard drives retail volume and shared enclosures drive the complaints. Pulling the OCC into its own stream usually shrinks the trash container rather than adding a second bill — which is the opposite of what most tenants expect.

What we typically set up
  • 4 to 8 yard front-load, or a vertical compactor where the dock is tight
  • Dedicated cardboard collection
  • Shared-enclosure scheduling across multiple tenants
  • One invoice per property, reconcilable per site
What it solves
  • Enclosures overflowing by Saturday
  • One tenant filling the container everyone shares
  • Paying to haul air in loose cardboard
  • CAM waste costs climbing without an explanation

Apartments, Condos & HOAsMultifamily communities, condo associations and property managers

Residents leave whatever will not fit beside the enclosure, and that becomes a code violation before it becomes anyone’s problem. Getting bulk on a schedule costs less than calling it in as an emergency every time.

What we typically set up
  • 6 to 8 yard front-load on a set schedule
  • Standing bulk pickup with a grapple truck
  • Recycling alongside trash where the community wants it
  • One contact across an entire portfolio
What it solves
  • Bulk items piling up beside the enclosure
  • Code violations from overflow
  • Early-morning pickups under residents' windows
  • Invoices you cannot reconcile per property
Property managers →
Construction & DemolitionGeneral contractors, roofers, remodelers and demolition crews

Weather moves and so do we. Same-day and next-day where we have capacity, standing swaps through a multi-crew week, and a grapple for the chute pile a container cannot take.

What we typically set up
  • 10 to 40 yard roll-off containers
  • On-call and standing swap schedules
  • Grapple truck for chute piles and oversized debris
  • Clean concrete and asphalt taken to our aggregates yard
  • Portable restrooms for the crew
What it solves
  • A tear-off starting with no box on site
  • Overloaded containers that cannot legally leave
  • Chute landings backing up mid-shift
  • Three vendors for containers, restrooms and material
Roll-off & grapple →
Government & MunicipalCities, agencies, schools, parks and public facilities

SAM.gov registered, licensed and insured, with certificates at whatever limits your solicitation specifies. Local equipment sitting in Fort Lauderdale rather than a mobilization from out of state.

What we typically set up
  • Roll-off and front-load at public facilities
  • Grapple for bulk, vegetative debris and right-of-way cleanup
  • Storm and post-hurricane debris response
  • Portable restrooms for public events and work sites
  • Recycled aggregate supply for public projects
What it solves
  • Solicitations that need a compliant local bidder
  • Illegal dumping that has to be cleared and documented
  • Storm debris with no hauler lined up in advance
  • Vendors who cannot produce the insurance exhibit

Hotels & HospitalityHotels, resorts, short-term rentals and event venues

Guest-facing property where the container cannot be seen, smelled or heard at 5am. Volume swings hard between season and off-season, and the schedule should swing with it instead of staying where somebody set it in 2019.

What we typically set up
  • Self-contained compactor or 8 yard front-load
  • Seasonal frequency changes, up and down
  • Quiet early scheduling away from guest rooms
  • Cardboard and glass recycling where volume justifies it
What it solves
  • Noise complaints from early pickups
  • Off-season paying peak-season frequency
  • Odor near guest entrances in summer
  • Overflow after a large event
Commercial service →
Marine, Yards & Outdoor SitesBoatyards, marinas, storage yards, nurseries and open lots

Awkward access, oversized debris and material that never fits neatly in a box. More often a grapple job than a container job — and frequently both.

What we typically set up
  • Grapple truck on call for oversized and scattered debris
  • Roll-off for steady material
  • Vegetation and land-clearing debris removal
  • Portable restrooms for yard crews
What it solves
  • Debris spread across a yard rather than piled
  • Items too large to lift into a container
  • No room to place a box where the work is
  • Storm cleanup with no hauler on call

Why Murphy

What you get either way

Right-sized

Container and frequency matched to your real volume. Paying for capacity you do not use is the commonest thing we find on a competitor’s invoice.

One point of contact

One number, and whoever picks up can make the call. Multiple sites get one contact across all of them, and invoicing you can reconcile per property.

Fees shown separately

Municipal franchise fees and taxes appear as their own pass-through lines instead of being folded into the rate, so you can compare us honestly against anyone.

Recycling that pays

Cardboard and commingled alongside your trash. For most retail, food service and healthcare it shrinks the trash container rather than adding a second bill.

Whatever segment you are in, the fastest way to find out whether we are worth switching to is to send a recent invoice from your current hauler. We break it down line by line, show a side-by-side, and flag your contract’s renewal notice window. Free, and if we cannot beat it we will tell you that.
