Capabilities

What we can put under contract

Murphy Waste Systems is a family-owned, independent Florida hauler working with commercial and public-sector clients across Florida. We are registered in SAM.gov, licensed and insured in Florida, and small enough that the person who signs your contract is the person who answers when something needs to move.

Roll-off & hauling

10 to 40-yard containers for public works, facilities maintenance, parks and capital projects, with scheduled or on-call service.

Front-load collection

Recurring collection at government buildings, community centers, depots and public facilities on a set schedule.

Grapple & debris response

Bulk and vegetative debris, right-of-way cleanup, illegal dumping response and post-storm collection.

Portable restrooms

Standard, deluxe and ADA units with scheduled servicing for public events, parks and work sites.

Recycled aggregates

Clean concrete and asphalt accepted; recycled base rock, screenings and millings supplied back for public projects.

Compactor programs

Leased or purchased compactors for high-volume facilities, with service included and haul scheduling matched to fill rate.

Procurement

Documentation we can provide

  • W-9 and Florida business registration
  • Certificate of insurance at your specified limits
  • Additional insured and indemnification language
  • Equipment list and service capability statement

How we bid

  • Written line-item pricing against your scope

  • No bid we do not intend to honour at the price quoted
  • One point of contact from solicitation through award
  • Local equipment, not a mobilization from out of state

Working on a solicitation now? Send the number and the scope, or the insurance exhibit alone, and we will confirm compliance before you spend time scoring us.

Questions

Procurement questions

Are you registered to do business with government?
Yes. Murphy Waste Systems is registered in SAM.gov for federal, state and local contracting, and we hold Florida licensing and insurance. We can provide our registration details, W-9, certificate of insurance and references as part of any solicitation package.
What kinds of public-sector work do you handle?
Roll-off containers and hauling for public works and facilities, front-load collection at government buildings, grapple service for bulk and vegetative debris and right-of-way cleanup, illegal dumping response, portable restrooms for public events and work sites, and recycled aggregate supply.
Can you respond to storm and emergency debris events?
Yes. Grapple trucks are the primary equipment for post-storm vegetative debris, and we work with municipalities and agencies on cleanup. As a local company our equipment is already here in Florida rather than staged in another state waiting on a mobilization order.
Do you meet insurance and indemnification requirements?
We carry Florida commercial coverage and can name an agency as additional insured, provide certificates at the limits your solicitation specifies, and execute standard indemnification language. Send us the insurance exhibit and we will confirm compliance before you spend time scoring us.
Are you a small or local business?
Yes — family-owned, independent, and based in Fort Lauderdale rather than a regional office of a national roll-up. For agencies with local-preference or small-business participation goals, that is worth confirming against your specific criteria; ask us and we will answer plainly.
How do we get a quote for a solicitation?
Send the solicitation number and the scope, or just the line items you need priced. We respond with a written quote and whatever compliance documentation the package requires. If a scope is outside what we can legally or practically serve, we will tell you that instead of submitting a bid we cannot honour.
